What are some songs that sisters can sing at ADPi weddings? Or even a chant, tradition or something. Two of my chapter sisters are getting married at the end of May, and I think it would be fun to show everyone else what our sisterhood is about.

We found these on an ancient album that a chapter in California had made, and they were so corny, we loved them! We make a friendship circle with the bridal couple in the middle to do these, and there are usually tons of comments from other people there.

At NAU we actually sing the first song slightly differently...

The other song I havent heard...

But for candle passings (since I havent been to an adpi wedding yet...but mine will be the first)...but we sing...

Little ADPi, Sacred Bonds...umm...that is all I can think of right now...

Those sound really cute!! I definatley have to let our song chair know about those b/c they would be great for our pinnings. Do you know if they are in the Song Book or how I can somehow get a tune for them?

I would recommend Pass it On, which is a candle passing song we sing and the ADPi round. Here are the lyrics just in case you need them.

The ADPi round we sang during pinning, so we started singing prior to the new alphas coming into the room and continued until they were all in. I can't even give an average of how many times you repeat, but it's a really pretty song and so is Pass It On.

Beth Hamilton of EO won a songbook on ebay, and was sweet enough to photocopy it for me (we were bidding against each other, and so we practiced "We Live For Each Other"). I'm making a copy for Alpha Iota, and I would be happy to make a copy for Eta Beta (or any other chapter who requests it), too.

I'm in Chicago, visiting my fiance, so I won't be able to make the copies until Wednesday, but if you pm me with an address in the meantime, I'll be happy to pass it along - but only if you'll share it with any other chapter who asks for it! :) That's what sisters are for!

so last week HB had a pinning (christin sciulli & brian cusick, a DTD) and i'm all i know what's up it's the same as always and wouldn't you know after cusick pins sciulli, the chapter busts out let us sing to alpha delta and then at BDB this past friday, the group that sang the creed at recruitment, sang the adpi blessing before dinner. april is the best thing that's happened to the song chair position in so long! i'm so proud of her, and i was so impressed with the girls... noosh (HBADPi) i know you understand cause HB -- not the best singers hahaha... i think when you come back for graduation and i'm up we should make the chapter serenade us with their new songs!

I agree- we havent been serenaded to since we were alphas and its high time we got pampered while we're still around as Deltas. :D
