Summer Workshop
 

Just wanted to let everyone know, we had our summer workshop this past weekend and it went really really well!!! I was so shocked because only 12 women have done rush on this side before. The newer women picked up on everything. Even conversation styles and what is appropriate. They knew how to answer questions right and how to stimulate even the shyest rushee. I was so excited watching them practice our skit and preference. It was wonderful! I am so proud!!! And my chair people for each party are the bomb!! We may have the best rush ever this year!! Our workshop's scheduled for some time next month, and I hope that ours is just as successful as yours.

We didn't lose any Seniors last semester, but we did lose 1 to Student Exchange and 1 to transfer...luckily Malia will be hanging out with the AGDs at Oregon State for a year and Kristen will be affiliating with Gamma Beta at Florida State. I met Gamma Beta's chapter advisor and president at Convention, and I know she'll be in good hands.

Still, most of our group are seasoned recruitment people...and I know that we'll have a successful recruitment in September!

Hi there!! Did you go to Convention? ((Sorry I can't find my attendee list so check your name!)) Someone from your chapter sat at my table 2 nights in a row.

My in-laws live in BG. In fact, we are going up there at the end of the month. I always seem to be in BG when y'all aren't in school.

When is Rush?

I know that y'all are the BEST on the Hilltop!

No I didnt go to convention (boo hiss!) our Chapter president was the only one able to because most of us are poor!! If you are going to be there at the end of July and want to see our place I can give you our president's email and you maybe able to meet up with her and some of our sisters. Any other time let me know, there are sisters who live there year round!
