Ohio State Day
 

Ohio's State Day is this Saturday, April 5th at Bowling Green State University. Any of you lovely ladies going to be there? I'm on BW's exec, so i get to go! I'm so pumped!

It's this Saturday??? I'm supposed to go because i'm on Delta Delta's exec, but we only ever heard from BG once to check and see if the date is ok. We didn't even know if it was going to be this weekend or not. Could you PM me with BG's contact info if at all possible?

Delta Omega won't be there bc it's the same day as our formal dance! That always seems to happen but we never intend for it to!
what is done at state day?

Last year we hosted State Day and it's kindof a blur because we were celebrating the 75th anniversary of recieving our charter as well. we had different seminar metting things you could go to, we shared songs from different chapters and we had an alum speak. this year i know that Mary Jane Johnson is speaking and that's about all i know for sure.

So pumped for Saturday- even if we have to leave at 7:30 in the morning to get to BG in time. This is my first state day- no one from my chapter went last year, i think since it was down at OU, we didnt have the funds to pay for hotel rooms, or something stupid, i don't know. Anyways, i'm pumped to see all the Phi Mu's from the state. Afterwards, my best friend who goes to ONU and is a Kappa Alpha Theta there is coming to pick me up and I'm spending the night with her and all of her friends there. I'm looking forward to this weekend- hopefully, i can make it through the week!

Oh Dixie, be glad you aren't coming form good old OU this year. We are leaving Athens at FIVE AM on Saturday morning to get there in time for check-in. I'll see you on Saturday!
