The "what was I thinking???" Thread
 

Feel free to post whatever situation, that upon reflection made you wonder what you were thinking.

Mine happened today, when my roommate brought in a girl that I had flirted with heavily a couple of weeks ago at a party...in the daylight and sober, I had to wonder just exactly what I was thinking when I thought that I could hook up with her if the other interest that night fell through...

This past summer, I went to my best friend's ex girlfriend's wedding and got really drunk and said a few things that were out of line. I still cringe when I think what might have been caught on the videotape.

Just last week, during my trip to Vegas... I made out with this guy that I really wanted nothing to do with, just wanted to have someone for the night. I felt really shady afterward because he was completely and obviously so into me... he told me he wanted to move to So. Cal from Idaho because "we had something special." I spent like 3 hours with the guy... now I regret the fact that he has my phone number... Oh well, still fun, but I feel shady.

why did i spend nearly 2 hours on the phone with my exboyfriend last night? if anyone has the answer, please let me know bc i am definately kicking myself for doing it.

What was I thinking going out with my ex for a year and a half my freshman and half of my sophomore year??? Now I don't even like him as a person!

One of my "what was I thinking moments"..

I had an assignment for stats class that I had to finish and upload the grade to the College of Business network. The prof told us 500-thousand times it was due this last Friday by 11:59 PM. (Keep in mind I have no idea what the business computer lab schedule is since I only go there to upload those assignments...)

So I had a nice fun-filled day... and didn't remember about uploading my assignment until right before my boyfriend and I were going to leave to go to his place... and buy the time I run to the business building, go up two flights of stairs and open the doors, I realize the computer lab in the business building closes at 8 PM on Fridays... and by this time it is already 9 PM.

So needless to say, I didn't get my assignment uploaded in time, and now I can only get half credit.

Maybe this wasn't a 'what was I thinking' post and more of a "I wasn't thinking" post. :p

Update on my post...That girl is now going out with my roommates little brother...I nearly brought up the "what was I thinking" subject with him and had to abort early and switch the subject when he said that, not wanting to say bad things about his brother's new girlfriend.

It's weird. Someone you might not find even remotely attractive in the light of day might wind up being the woman/ man of your friend's dreams. Believe me I have been there. One person's trash is another's treasure. :rolleyes:
