Less than 24 hours to go...
 

In less than 24 hours, I'll be a newly initiated member of Alpha Phi. I'm approaching this moment with so much hope and so many expectations. I know that my experiences as an alumna initiate will be completely different than those who were initiated as collegians, and I'm okay with that - it's the sisterhood that means the most to me above all else.

So I ask you my Sisters: do you have any words of wisdom/advice you'd like to share with me (and Midwesterngirl) on the eve of our big day?

Congratulations! Enjoy every minute of your special day!

Have fun, and listen carefully. Also, know that we're thinking about you, and are thrilled that you will be sharing the bonds of Alpha Phi with us! Congratulations!!!!! :)

Exactly what I would say. There will be so much information, but not overload. Listen to everything being said, but most importantly, cherish the ritual you are taking a part in.

An early congrats to you, as I will be in San Antonio tomorrow initiating the newest pledge class of my chapter, which includes my grandlittle who I will be meeting for the first time. :D

There are only a few last minute parting words i can say...

1. listen to everything in the ritual it will go by fast! It is truly beautiful! :D

2. wear comfy shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. know as an AI your a sister thru a thru. I thought the same thing , "oh i didnt do this as an coll. and that was ok i know i am a sister that is all that counts!" :D

4. KNow were all thinking of you two!:D

5. and lastly welcome to our beautiful sisterhood you truly have arrived!
