Bid Day
 

We are having to change out our bid day activities this year and I need advise on what everyone else does on this most important of days. Our Chapel Day has been canceled because of some frats and their fighting ways, so we need ideas on how to make this day from becoming anticlimatic. Help...

For Bid Day last year, we met our new sisters on the lawn outside the building where we got our bid cards. There we got our little baskets of goodies. We walked back to the house, took pictures. Then we ate pizza and went ice skating. Other ideas we have had was laser tag, mini golfing, etc. Anything fun and interactive which doesn't cost too much works! Hope this helps.

For our Bid Day, after we meet the girls for the first time we take them back to the suite to introduce them to each girl in our chapter. Later that night, to give everyone time to get ready, we throw a luau in honor of the new girls. It's a lot of fun and gives everyone a chance to get to know one another on an informal & fun basis.
