any fleetwood mac fans?
 

I am trying to convince my parents to get me tickets for their summer tour for a grad gift. I didn't realize how expensive they would be. but i have been listening to them since i was a few months old. my mom said i used to bounce on my stomach as an infant when they played their record. so i am really excited to hopefully see them live.

anyone know why christine mcvie isn't touring with them?

Saw Stevie Nicks on PBS a few weeks ago. Plus, saw her with the Dixie Chicks on TV. Lower range, but still that unique voice.

I am a HUGE Fleetwood Mac fan. I'm trying to get tickets to see them in concert in Cleveland. I have no idea why Christine is not going on tour with them. :(

Check out tickets on Ebay...you might get lucky and come across something a little less expensive! :)

I found this as the reason why Christine is not touring.
"Mainly because I've been with the band for 25 years. Touring was never my favourite thing to do... I get insomnia on the road. I can't sleep in strange beds night after night. Did not want to take sleeping pills, that is the beginning of the end. I would lie awake reading all night. This made me irritable. I had done it enough. Then I would drink a bottle of wine before bed... wake up with a hangover. It was a no win situation."

Tix are $50 for nosebleed. Any closer to the stage and it's $75-$125. $125 will get you on the floor. Then you gotta think about service charges. I am gonna talk about it with my parents this weekend.

AOX... Although Stevie was my favorite of the group, Christine had the cool songs. "You make lovin fun" is one of my favs. That sucks that she isn't gonna tour. But i guess it is for good reasons.

Saw Stevie Summer of 2001 in Dallas. It was a great show. She did many of the bands songs. Good show. There were some interesting peeps there tho. Really interesting leftovers from the 70's. Lots of people dressed like shepards. Um, you cant park your flock here.

FM is my favorite group of ALL time. When I was a kid on the days that I got to sit in the front seat on the way to or from school FM Rumours was the ONLY thing we were allowed to listen to. My mom and sister like FM too, but they roll their eyes because I still keep 4 copies of each of their albums (one for my car, one for my home and one for my office plus a spare in case one gets damaged). I met Stevie Nicks when I was 7. She was at Bel-Air camera and the cashier was like, "Stevie Nicks, do you work for him?" I was in line behind her and was like, um no, "that is Stevie Nicks you dummy!" I think people were a little surprised that a 7 year old knew who she was.
