so today i waited 2 and a hlaf hours in line to apply, and interview for a job. where was this job at? in down town san diego at the yard house. yes a restaurant. they looked at me like a little kid, only cause i am 22 and i look 17. it sucked. i have experience, i work hard, and i know i will not get a job. i dont know what i am gonna do for work this summer...

Hey don't give up. My first summer job in college I went to a restaurant to apply. They wanted me to go ahead and talk w/ one of the managers. So I stayed for 45 minutes and finally the host told me that I probably should come back the next day. So I did, and waited another hour until I talked to the GM. He was cool and said he wanted to hire me, but that he couldn't guarantee a job. He said to call when I was out of school and he'd see. I was sorta down but figured I'd keep looking. As soon as I got home the phone rang and it was the manager saying he was guaranteeing me a job because he heard about my persistence. So don't worry!!! :)
