Hey, just thought I'd say hi on the board! Right now, I'm about halfway through the pledge education program at UW-Madison and still loving ChiO!!! :D We were told that they are trying to talk to nationals to see if they can initiate us spring pledges before the school year is over...maybe we'll find out this weekend after our national rep. comes to visit! Greek week is coming up soon along with two of our philanthropies. Also, formal is in a month too! I'm excited about that, but nervous cuz I want to ask a certain guy to go with me ;)

You all know me...work work work. I'm still working full time and finishing up school. I just met with my advisor and I will graduate this December (FINALLY). Other than that I'm in the process of looking for new jobs for the future and just trying to pass my classes.

Oh and recently I bought a Queen sized bed. FINALLY, I'm out of co-ed twin bed!!!!!

I moved in with my boyfriend in a suburb a little north of NYC. So far so good!!! :p

I don't like my job - but that's nothing new.

I've recently been in touch with some of the advisors at Beta Alpha (UPenn) and am going to hopefully start advising there. It's in Philly so I will have to "tele-advise" mostly, with just a few trips a year. I'm really looking forward to it, though!

And uwgirl, I thought we had to initiate before school was out for the summer? Isn't it "hazing" to hold them over to the next school year (unless they are Diamond pledges?)? 'Course, I have been out of school a while, but it seems that would not be a rule they would change?

I am not really clear on initiation. We just had our national consultant visit this weekend, so maybe we'll find out if they discussed when our initiation would be or not. I had asked about it, and they said usually they wait until the following semester because our chapter has to send in our grades to national. I would love to get initiated yet this year though!!! I was told by my rho chis (haven't asked anyone in the house yet though) that normally Chi Omega is a chapter on campus that gets quota in the fall and doesn't do spring rush normally (we have a lot of seniors graduating so that's why we're doing it this spring), so maybe they're not as experienced with spring rush and initiation...don't know! I'll keep you updated whenever I do find out!

I know I have been MIA lately! I am very busy with work and am about to start a new 2 week training program this Monday. Kinda nervous- I have been out of school for 2 years, so I am hoping they cut us some slack!! : )
Other than than, I am planning on going back to school (MBA) this January to Stetson University here in central Florida! They don't have a Chi O chapter there...maybe it's time to start one! We already have 2 Chi O chapters in the Orlando area. (Rollins and UCF)

How is everyone else doing!?

MAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh girl where have you been?!?! We've missed ya sweetie. I was beginning to worry about you since we haven't seen or heard from you in a while. I'm glad to hear things are going well for you! YEAH!

Things are STILL the same here. I'm lovin' the queen sized bed :p still. I'm working and taking 12 credit hours to graduate this December. I've started looking for jobs more seriously...still not sure exactly what I want to do or if I even want to stay here in Omaha (or not).
Other than that, the same ole stuff here as well!

DON'T BE A STRANGER MAY!:D
