A Famous AGD that we Forget

I always see the same list go up whenever we all have debates about who's famous in what sorority and we always forget a very famous AGD...... Dr. Ruth. Lets put her up there next time http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Dr. Ruth is an AGD?????? I thought she was from Austria? That one is big news to me! Maybe you can also verify the rumor I have heard that Madonna pledged Alpha Beta, but then dropped. Do you know if that is true?

I don't think Madonna even graduated high school- let alone attend college...

LOL, Madonna did graduate from high school (a Catholic school I think), but she didn't stick around in college long enough to even consider joining a sorority.

This is why I think it is important that IHQ include an "ACCOMPLISHED AGDs" section on their updated website.

from what we hear about Madonna here at UM she like only did 3/4 of her freshamn year as a dance major and then dropped

Madonna graduated HS. I am from the neighboring town of hers growing up and she graduated from Rochester Adams HS in Rochester Hills, MI. My 8th grade english teacher was actually her english teacher. She was the last one to go to public school in her family and the younger siblings all went to Bishop Foley HS in Madison Heights, MI. I know she wasn't at UofM for long, but I heard she wanted to join a sorority basically b/c her family wanted her to so she pledged AGD, but dropped within the few weeks of her pledge period. As you can see, I am a HUGE Madonna fan!!

One of the girls on Survivor 2: Australlia, is an AGD. I can't remember where she went to college, but she is sister of AGD. She did pretty well on the show too!

I'm not singling out anyone here, but I've been noticing this on various topics all around GC.

I was an AGD at the University of ABC.

When someone becomes an AGD...it's for life. So wouldn't it make more sense to say "I am an AGD from XYZ college" regardless of collegiate or alumna status?

You're right OTW. Made me want to go check all my posts now to see if I said "was" or "am." I'm not going to do that because that would be too obsessive-compulsive. But I'll keep that in mind in the future. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif
