Not Only Did I Get The Directory Today But......
 

Hee hee, I also got the 2003 Winter Quaterly! I will give nothing away, but I did like all the aged pictures and it was nice to hear about what's going on with the chapters.

Oh yeah, I'm writing this at 2am in the morning Wednesday, but got everything Tuesday night when I came home from work. ;)

Still no directory, but I got my Quarterly yesterday, as well. :cool:

LOL, I'm not sure what I would have done if I had gotten the directory and the Quarterly on the same day. It would have been too much Alpha Gam for one evening! I spent an hour or two just looking sisters up and seeing what they're up to--I think I will email one or two of them this weekend. ;)

Should everyone who is alum be receiving the directory? I am apparently not in the book because I am still a college student, thought I went alum with my pledge class.

I also recieved my Q and found the picture from TU very interesting. I had forgotten that a tradition was started last year to wear your pj's to the Saturday of RTS. Then everyone goes to the Caf to eat brunch. It apparently is becoming known all over campus.

I also thought that the story on the camp and the letter in the back was very interesting.

I got my book today. Haven't gotten my Quarterly yet.

NO, not everyone gets the directory automatically. We had to purchase them.

You all suck! I always get my Quartley last. :(

I got my Directory yesterday. It's very nice! :D

Well, in this instance, maybe whinning is okay because...I got my Quarterly today! :)

Got mine and boy was I shocked!!!!
 

Some GUY was awarded a Foundation Scholarship!! Since I've never applied for one, I thought that only AGDs were eligible.

His name is Adam Tracy who goes to Central Mo. State majoring in Political Science and won the Culp Memorial Scholarshp.


In case you are interested, he sort of favors skater Brian Boitano.;) :D

Sadness, still no Quarterly in California. :(

There is one scholarship through our Foundation that is for a non-member of Alpha Gamma Delta -- I would assume that's the one this gentleman won! I believe it's been only women who've received it up until now, so that's probably why it hasn't jumped out at you before. :)

P.S. Anyone know when the Directory CDs will be sent out? It sounds like they didn't come with the printed Directory? Thanks! :)

I forgot to reply to this thread last week when I got my Quarterly....I loved the article about the camps! The letter was an interesting read, too. I wish Quarterly staff would do more articles about our early history, especially now that we are getting ready to celebrate the Centennial. :)

I also wish they would do a feature article on alumnae dues. Suzanne mentioned it in her letter, but I think if they did a feature article explaining exactly why they have this program, IHQ would see a much larger influx of alumnae contributing!

I just got my Winter Q yesterday. I want to knnow why that guy got a scholarship too.
