Yikes, it's been almost 15 years since I last did a road trip. Seriously, I'll be in town next week and would love a night out sans kiddos. Anyone game next Wednesday or Thursday night?

Anyone want to meet up sometime between December 26 and 31, 2006? I'll be in town for the APO convention but we have a lot of down time. Let me know!

Also, suggestions on places to go (nightlife) would be appreciated.

I live in Lexington, but will be headed to Louisville several times during that week to see family for holiday gatherings. I'd love to get together & we can head down to Fourth Street Live for drinks. My boyfriend plays at Maker's Mark Lounge quite a bit & I like its atmosphere a lot. If a meetup isn't possible, you could still check it out-there is a lot going on there.

I also like Main Street Lounge & Petrus has some good acts every now & then. Besides night clubs, there are some awesome bars/restaurants up & down Bardstown Rd that you should definitely check out in your spare time.

I am going to law school at Louisville. I'm down to kick it anytime! psyche!

Senusret...pm me & we can meet up....I'll be in louisville over that period....my impression of you makes me think you'd prefer Bardstown Rd or Frankfort Ave to the constant college spring-break atmosphere that is 4th Street....although as long as you stay on the bottom level 4th Street is ok....Maker's Mark & Felt, that is.

Bobby....is the psyche regarding the hanging out, or being at UofL? Louisville is a cool city...I got a full ride for law school there but felt like I needed to get out for a little while....but I anticipate you'll find it low-key rather than perhaps what you're accustomed to. Also...I like the signature...that shit was ridiculous....hope the aclu manage to get something done.

If anything does happen in Louisville.....make it known.

For those GCers in the Louisville area, I run a blog called BackseatSandbar.com, and I promote the Louisville music & arts scene (just in my spare time). I post mostly about upcoming shows and events, and then typically write reviews on the things and post a massive amount of photos. I have massive amounts of photos from the Feist and PB&J show. I primarily keep it down to what I would actually want to do rather than posting everything...usually indie bands and things of that nature. Come check us out.
