Convention costumes??
 

Hi all! I just got my convention packet a few days ago, and I was wondering- what are you all doing for your costume for the Foundation dinner. This might stress me out because I AM NOT creative. I used to be a witch every year for Halloween because I couldn't think of anything better! Hmmmn, let me know what you guys are thinking of! I'm gonna need all the help I can get!!

SIU, I'm still waiting on my convention packet! Deanna Conaty emailed me saying that it was mailed last week, but so far--nothing!

Our Convention contingent met last weekend to discuss what we're wearing and things like that and we couldn't come to a consensus. The alums suggested a traditional Hawaiian print (Palaka) with squirrels but that was shot down (probably because we don't have squirrels here). We accomplished absolutely nothing last weekend, but we're meeting again in a few days so I'll keep you posted with the progress because as of now we have no idea what we're going to do!

How does one go about displaying the Convention theme?

I am going to convention too and can use all the help i can get for a costume. I have no clue what to do.

I finally got my Convention packet today and how are we supposed to dress up for "Make the Connection"?!?!?! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif

The flyer said something about generations...maybe styles from the past?

I'm not going but I have a good idea. For "make the connection" you can get boxes and paint tem black and make yours for example a electrical socket and your advisor a plug. Get it, make the connection?? Also, static clong would be cute too, or a telephone! Those are all pretty easy to do
