FIJI Islander
 

Bros, we are looking at how to do an islander at NC State. This is our first year as a chapter and want to have our first islander as well. I was wondering what other chapters do,ie logistics place held, philantropy aspect etc....

i am a fiji at the gamma chi chapter at the university of california @ santa barbara. we throw a huge concert at our house for our islander. we have sublime, 311, strung out, save ferris, aquabats, hepcat, homegrown, face to face, no use for name, goldfinger. we have also had blink 182 and unwritten law play for our annual all greek soccer tournament. we also have an islander date party the night after islander, as well as a tg(mixer) the week during islander. we also donate money to a local childrens charity after all of our expenses have been covered.

I am at the lambda Tau chapter at Texas tech. On thursday we rent out a bar. Friday we have a date party. Saturday is all day long and each plegde class has there own hut they built during the week. Each hut usually has different things like a shot block or what ever. and u got to have sand we had like to semi truck loads full of sand.
