Important question...
 

Hi Ladies,

Can y'all tell me if there is an AGD chapter at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville? I looked on your national website but couldn't find a list of collegiate chapters. The reason I'm asking is b/c "somethinstupid" who has been posting regularly on GC just said that she was an AGD but dropped out, and she's said some pretty rude things about the chapter in the past.

I looked on the SIUE website and didn't see Alpha Gam listed under student organizations --- and all the other frats and sororities are. Interesting, huh? Anyway, just curious. If one of y'all could get back to me, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for the heads-up, dzrose. I posted a reply to her comments in the Greek Life section. Alpha Gamma Delta has never chartered a chapter at SIUE, and I cannot believe this person would try to drag us through the mud when she's probably never even had the good fortune to meet an AGD. I don't know who has the power to kick someone off Greek Chat, but I would hope this is enough to get this 'somethinstupid' person out of here.

Unfortunately, the person in question has a personal beef with me, and I apologize to all my sisters for what she wrote against AGD. As a very active GCer, I felt the need to question some of her posts (as most of them have been suspicious). As I (and other GCers) have gotten closer to exposing the fraud she is, she's gotten more feisty with her posts, and unfortunately she's dragged the name of AGD through the mud.

"Stupid"'s actions have been already reported to John Hammel (administrator of this site) but they weren't enough to get her (and her IP address) banned from this site, but after today let's hope she is! To speak negatively about me is fine, but to spread false rumors about my AGD is the LAST STRAW!

By the way, y'all... My cousin is an AGD (she went to Univ. of Alabama), and that's all I ever wanted to be until I got to college. My campus didn't have an AGD chapter. Delta Zeta suits me perfectly, and I'm glad I pledged what I did! But I just thought I'd let you know that Alpha Gamma Delta was the first sorority I ever knew anything about! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif Good group of girls! Thank you so much for saying that DZrose. It's so sweet to hear that you feel that way about us. On the same note, when I came to Eastern Mich I was dying to become a DZ. Unfortunately my grades were low and I couldn't pledge that semester and then the next semester rolled around and I went to AGD's open first, but I still really do love the DZ's here. We are also about to move into your old house here this next year as DZ is moving to what used to be the univ. presidents house. It is a beautiful house and the first time we will have a int'l recognized house for this chapter! Thank you for your greek love girl and I am giving it back to you too!
