Try George Benson or Herbie Hancock. Both are fabulous musicians who have been putting out excellent music for years. You also could never go wrong with any Miles Davis.I know that he is a trumpeter but he is still the best in my opinion.

Count Basie - Swing Shift
Charlier Parker - Birdland
Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra - Live In Swing City (Damn, a band with Wynton Marsalis, among other awesome jazz musicians playing Basie and Parker Charts......it's GREAT)
Any Ken Burns Jazz CD
Wynton and Ellis Marsalis - Joe Cool's Blues
