It's that time of year again: the changing to the Delta guard.

I'll start (of course);)

I'm running, unopposed, for Recording Secretary.

I was also named Delta of the Month today.

Nothing new with me--same ol', same ol' :D

after almost 5 years of being a financial Member-At-Large Soror, I have decided to join a grad chapter :D :D Been feeling like I'm missing out on something:(

For some that may not be a big deal, but for me, with my work hours the way they are, and other personal stuff :D, it has been a very HUGE deal.

I'll keep ya'll posted, hopefully I'll be able to juggle is as well as I do everything else on my plate

Well I joined Gainesville Alumnae Chapter yesterday and will be their webmaster.
I am excited! :D

I know how much you deserve your accolades. Was I the DELTA of the month back in August? ;) :p

I jumped in as the Chapter Journalist and Co Chair of the Delta Teen Challenge Program. My office/clubhouse has become the Delteen Headquarters in Tallahassee (unofficially).

I plan to run for Second Vice, IF I'm still in Tallahassee. If I move to the Atlanta Metro Area...I'm looking forward to hanging out with Kelli :)

Congrats on Delta of the Month...send me the criteria. Maybe we can implement that here.

I need some advice since I may be moving. Should a become a Member-at-Large?

I joined Charlotte Alumnae today and signed up for several committees.

Good for you. You're rolling with the big ballers of Charlotte Alumnae (home of a past national president and hopefully future RD!):D

Yeah, very big chapter. I signed up for 6 committees (one for each year I have been a Delta.) :D I don't think Soror Roddey was at the meeting today. A lot of folks were absent.

When I stood as a visitor, I got a treat. :D I should have taken two for the dues I paid and getting lost on the way to the meeting. Darn one way streets. :eek: :mad:

Tonight was the chapter's cotillion as well.

I was nominated for treasurer by the nominating committee. Also another soror wanted to nominate me for president, but I knew that I wouldn't have the time to dedicate to the office and I am graduating in December, so I declined. Good luck to all other sorors that are running for offices or chairing committees.

I am rounding out my two years as Co-chair of Social and Political Action and am running for 1st Vice President. In our chapter, 1st Vice is responsible for oversight of all public service committees and that is why I accepted the nomination. I want to see our public service go to the next level!!

It is a contested race so PRAY FOR ME Y'ALL!!!

Just stopping back in to report a LANDSLIDE victory against my opponents Un Opposed & Write In. They put up a good fight, but it was clear who the better candidate was. :p :p
