New Pike colony at CofC

Hi guys! Just thought you'd like to know that Pi Kappa Alpha is colonizing at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Things just got started this school year, but national officers have been down here helping out, and it seems things are off to a good start. There are 30 guys in the colony so far (which is about half the size of most of the other 5 fraternities on campus), and they haven't even participated in a formal rush yet. But they are going to participate in Greek Week, which starts on Monday. I don't actually know any of the guys, but I'll keep y'all updated on their progress.

Cheers!

That's great news Dianne, thanks for the heads up.

Hello Pikes!

Ian,

Sweet Site. Glad to see that the new colony is off to a fast start.

If you don't mind, would you list some of the attributes of the colony (55 members, # of varsity athletes, # student leaders, GPA, etc.)? I'm sure alot of guys would love to see that. Also, you might include some brief info on the campus and especially competition from other fraternities.

I am a 98 initiate of Kappa Epsilon at Rockhurst Univ. I wasn't a Founding Father, but I know there are some on this site that are. Glad to see you've chosen PiKA and that you'll be building a legacy of success at College of Charleston. It looks like you guys are well on your way!

Good to see another Pike chapter in SC. If you guys need any help give us a ring up here at Coastal Carolina. We will be glad to come down there and give some ideas. Good luck guys.

It's good to see there's another CofC Greek Chatter! And you can probably provide better info on the colony than I can.

BTW, fab job at the Greek Week karaoke competition last night! :p

How's Xi Chapter @ USC?

I know the Pikes at South Carolina used to be a big 'athlete house'. How is the chapter today?
