Do any of you watch the show? I have come to really enjoy it. The dancing is my favorite part.:)

The real reason I started this thread, for those of us who do watch the show, is to ask about the judges. They are just as entertaining as the contestants, if not more so. That said, does anyone else think that Naomi Judd is a little strange? Her comments are so off the wall that they don't even make sense sometimes.

i watch star search. gotta love arsenio. naomi is really weird. i dont know where she gets her scores from. i like ben stein. ahmed zappa is adorable!!!! i remember when he did mtv's web riot. my fav part of the show is the comedy. the singing is getting on my nerves a little.

Yeah, I love Amhed Zappa too. He brought a certain life to the show. He's a lot of fun to watch. And Ben Stein is awesome.

Ya know, the first time around, I really liked Naomi.

But What The Hell was that about when she was talking to the Tapsounds kids on Friday? That was just rude and uncalled for.

I mean, I guess I can see what she meant to say, but how it came out was just ridiculous. I was just stunned. (And I was surprised nobody else had posted about it Friday night!)

One of my friends from MS won the model search. Porshala graduated ayear before me and we still talk. I am so proud of her!

i didnt watch that one. what did she say?

Naomi said something to the effect that she loves the art of tape dancing and that it is nice to see white people doing it (two of the contestants were Caucasian, one was African-American). Then she gives them two stars, if I remember correctly.

I don't mean to bash on Naomi. In one way she seems sweet and endearing. However, she says the strangest things. I just wonder if anyone in her family has brought it to her attention.

oookay. she is always using strange metaphors that dont make a bit of sense. sometimes i wonder if she knows what she said.

I like the old Star Search Better.
