How did you find greek chat? Why did you stay?!

I found GC through a group on collegeclub... I stayed because I got hooked... darn you people!

i honestly can remember how i found greek chat. i just know that i am still here. gc is my drug:D

I was initiated into AGD in early 2000 and I was bored at work one day...I did a search on Fraternities and Sororities and GreekChat was the first thing to pop up on Google!

Ali, I was into collegeclub.com at that time too. Anything to pass the time at work!

Our DCP emailed our division informing us of the site. I logged on shortly after and here I am!

When my sisters were receiving emails about becoming the next SL victims, some annonymous person signed our guestbook on our website and referenced all the hulabaloo going on when the first season was going on. I checked it out and stayed.

(and no... we aren't doing SL... :D)

I found out about it via livejournal.com's sorority girl community. I've been addicted ever since!

I had a question about initiating in two different sororities that I wanted answered. I wanted to chat to some greeks about it...so I typed in "greek chat"...and what did I get? :p

Old school GC members were shady about answering my question and I got shady back...then I got banned. :(

Just kind of ran into it one day when bored. Liked what I saw and posted once or twice:D

I found it in late july of the summer of 2001 after I signed to Beta during summer rush.

I know that at the time I was looking for anything related to Greek Life and I think I used a search engine to find it. Either that or got a link from another website.

I can't remember -- I think it was via livejournal.com's sorority community although I can't be sure. It was at a point where I had been considering going through rush for quite a while and was looking for resources about it.

i found it as some link from another greek site when i was having greek issues...i pledged a different house and wanted to drop so i could join phi psi. the people here were cool as hell, and i got addicted...

Or 3000 or so times ;)

I randomly found GC through Google.. I don't recall what I was looking up though (presumably something greek related :p ) and got addicted :)

My ex roomie who turned out to be psycho and weird who deactivated actually showed me Greekchat, I don't think she ever posted but I did a few times and before I knew it I was addicted. :D
