The Life of David Gale

If you haven't gone to see this movie yet, I suggest you go see it. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

Anyone else see it?

I want to because Kevin Spacey is a great actor, but it's been PANNED....so I'm not sure yet.

Overall I liked it. I really like Kevin Spacey & thought he did a good job in this.

Most of the reviews that have been negative have really nailed the film for its one-sided view of the death penalty. I thought it was kind of refreshing to have a film that was willing to take a stand & not be wishy-washy about something so controversial, regardless of what your personal opinion is on the matter.

The story itself was rather twisted... I don't know how believalbe I think it was. But I'll stop there as not to spoil anything.

I saw it... Kevin Spacey was great as usual. However, I thought the acting in some of the first few scenes was bad (not by Spacey or Kate Winslet, but by those actors with 1 or 2 scenes)... there was a part of the movie that I thought was unrealistic, but I can't say which because I would ruin it for everyone else!

True, but to me that totally made the movie. It is really really deep if you think it over.

And I did like how it took the one-sided view of the death penalty. I like to see a movie like that now and again.

I just came back from seeing this movie and I absolutely loved it.

Chicago was a great movie.

I really want to see it. I saw Spacey on a show talking about filming it and there is a scene were he is walking down 6th Street (in Austin) wasted, and I guess he really got trashed to film it. And all the people in that scene were regular college kids (not extras) who were just walking to the bars, so they had no idea what was going on.

crud

The cast came to our school a couple months ago when they were premiering it. I thought it was crap even though i'm against the death penalty, but that's just my opinion.
