Greek support at functions
Will everyone be totally honest in answering this question. When someone in your chapter or organization have a party of some sorts do you always attend(such as bridal shower, baby shower, weddings, bachelor parties)?
Even if you don't have money for a gift, do you still go just to support that person? |
Definitely. Brother/Sisterhood always before money.
|
No.
|
I only attend if I am invited. I expect that if I have something that only those that I have invited will attend.
I try not to attend anything "empty handed". In this case if I couldn't afford a gift, I'd ask a Soror to "carry" me until I could pay her back. |
I try to.
|
I try to. Most of the time I do.
|
Actually, I don't if men ever skip bachelor parties. They're normally quite fulfilling.

Sorry for all the posts--my system broke down temporarily.

There are 75 Brothers in my chapter. I can't make every event. However, I do purchase gifts or acknowledge the fact I was invited. Also, while I have great respect for Brothers, I don't always want to attend everything I'm invited - - - Like when 21 year old Bros have a party and ask me to stop by my first thoughts is that I'm going to be the oldest person there. That's when I pass. To cover, I send Alpha Punch or something.
