Do You Want to get rid of >>>>>>. . .

. . . in your e-mail forwards? :D

"How many times do you get an email fwd to you that's filled with tons of those annoying little>> characters?"

At www.papercut.biz/emailStripper.htm you can download a free program that will clean the email of all the arrows .

I downloaded and it does work. Now if they would show folks how to fwd emails without sending everybody else's email address it wouldn't take scrolling forever to read the actual email. This is just a pet peeve of mine.

This is neat. Any tips on how to forward yahoo emails w/o including folx's addys? This is a pet peeve of mine, but I haven't figured out how to remove it from yahoo.

I don't know about Yahoo, but on AOL, I just select (by highlighting) the portion I want to forward.

If you have Yahoo, you have the option of forwarding the message as an attachment or as an inline text. Select inline text and the entire message will show up in the composition box. From there you can put your cursor just above the message and delete everything above that. Or ladygreek's way will work too, this is just what I do.

Speaking of Yahoo, does anyone know how to send an email to someone in your address book without their name showing up in the TO: field? I'd prefer just to have their email address show up but I'm not going to go in and delete all their names.

Just use the BCC (blind carbon copy field), in the To field put your name. Unfortunately Yahoo still forces you to put someone in the To field unlike Outlook.
