South Carolina Alpha Xi's
 

I was just wondering if there were any South/North Carolina or Georgia Alpha Xi Deltas out there. My aunt's an AZD and I never see any around.

I'm in Atlanta. I also know of a couple North Carolina Alpha Xi Delta's that post... maybe we'll hear from them as well.

Where (what chapter/school) was your aunt initiated?

AZD has 7 chapters in NC. But other than that we don't have many in that area.

My aunt was initiated at Ohio State.

And one currently in South Carolina at Newberry College ... and according to a post in the rush forum, we've just been invited to present at the University of South Carolina.

We've also got three super-great chapters in Georgia (GA Tech, GA State, and West GA).

Oh.... and some great alumnae associations as well!

I went to school in North Carolina and a bunch of us used to go to Hilton Head for Spring Break. We'd always meet up with some Alpha Xi's from the Newberry chapter. We had a blast - Hilton Head is gorgeous!!!

As you folks all know, I'm volunteering with the Wingate University chapter. I recently received a list of alums from North & South Carolina that live within 60 miles of the chapter. There were over 650 names. If we are like that all over the tri-state area, we have a LOT of sisters out there. Several of our girls are from South Carolina, and a couple have asked me about Alum Initiation, because they want their moms to be Initiated. They are putting them in touch with their local alum groups soon, and hopefully we'll add more sisters to the ranks.
