When are we ever going to learn?

I'm a little confused by the article. Was the person who was allegedly assaulted a member of A Phi A from a different college, and attacked because he hadn't been initiated by this particular chapter? Or was he wearing their letters without being initiated at all?

Not that anything would make it OK to assault him.

I just find the article a little vague.

It is a little vague as to why he believes they assaulted him. What is clear to me is that this is another incident that will tarnish the good name of greeks everywhere. :(

This pisses me off.

This very article is being discussed on an e-mail list i'm on. One of the Alphas on the list has been in contact with sources @ UT. Long story short, the whole story is suspect.

As a student at UT I can tell you that every story definately has two sides and that is not the complete story.

What is the whole story, then??

Yes, I'm curious, what is the other side of the story? What's the complete story?

I am not at liberty to give the complete details but I will say that this issue has already been before our student judiciary committee and all claims against the men were found completely false.
