Just wondering
Hello my name is Ricky, and I am in The Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity Inc. from Long Beach State. I was wondering if the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. ever interact with The Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity Inc. since we were founded in the same year. If so how? if not why not? Just curious because even though I have friends in the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. they dont like IFC events and such, so I was wondering if its like that all over or is it just at Long Beach State. Thanks.

First of I would like to thank everyone for the replies, I really appreciate it. I am glad that on other campuses we as Fraternity Men interact. A lot of great things were accomplished in 1906. Well I hope to keep in contact with all of you, and I look forward to your post.

Ricky, on my campus, we had a Phi Kappa Tau chapter and we were also active in IFC. I, in fact, was one of our two IFC reps. Outside of IFC, we co-sponsored a few events with Sigma Nu. Had we been aware your frat was founded the same year, we may have suggested some events.

Welcome to The Neighborhood. To answer your question, despite our(Alpha's) committment to our own, there are many chapters that socialize and philanthropize with Phi Tau's. My undergraduate chapter collaborated with the Phi Tau's here on a project about a year ago. |
