When is the right time?
 

Well, yall know me, I'm full of questions. So here's a new one.

At what point do you feel comfortable leaving your lady friend at your apartment/house alone? Is this something that you don't think about (like, it doesn't really matter), or is it always a no-no, or what?

Now, Soror, you know I gotta flip the script...

When ladies, do you let ole boy (lol) stay at your abode when you are away, or do you allow this to happen at all?

When I was younger, much younger, it would have been right away, because I'm sure I would have thought it was "CUTE". I would have cleared out a space in the closet, and gave him a dresser drawer too. But at this age, Never. When I leave everyone who don't live there leaves. And take all your belongings with you.

Oh, I am young (very young--20)...and there's NO WAY IN HELL that I would do that. I guess it's because I've had bad experiences with friends and their boyfriends (ie, domestic violence issues that have affected and threatened my safety), and I'm naturally cautious. I do have friends who have done it after a week ('cause you know how INTENSE those one-week college lust things can be), and have deeply regretted it. So, I would say 3 months...but only in the case of an emergency (like, "my friend called me and needs money bad...I have to go to the ATM).

As much as I love my boyfriend, the thought of him laid back watching my DVDs and using my phone when I'm not around kinda weirds me out. But we're short-timers. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Keep in mind that I am not 20 but 30+. At this age, I think it is a sign of a trusting relationship if I allow my girl to remain at my place - ALONE! And like my Brother stated, I make sure I've put up, taken out, etc. anything I don't want her to see.

I have never left any man alone in my apartment. Can't fathom doing it, either. I don't have anything to hide though, I just can't see someone being there when I'm not there. Ugh. Naw. lol

Professor, I think it's a good idea that you turn your ringer off. Unless you tryin' to run games, lol, but anyway. It's nice to hang out with a dude and not have to decipher (yeah, I'm nosy) whether or not he's talkin' to some chick.

And does it matter if you put up all the "valuables?" (yall are funny, lol) I AM NOSY!!! I'm searching high and low in that house, not looking for anything, just snooping.
