Divine Nine
 

We just had the author of "The Divine Nine" speak on campus... it was awesome!!! :) The NPHC groups are all very small on campus, but theyre all awesome people... aaaaand... our colony (I think theyre still a colony) of Alpha Phi Alpha stepped at the end... they were awesome! It was really nice to see the Clarion greek community come out for a great night! Although some of the less cultured NPC/IFC's left and were bitching, my chapter had a great time and showed up in full force!

Why did members of the NPC/IFC leave?

I love Clarion with all my heart, but it is not always the most "enlightened" place on earth. They were probably bitching because they were informed that at one time, their groups refused to take Blacks. Hell - it's true - it's your history and you can't change it - you can just not repeat it.
