TKE's on Comedy Central!!!
 

Will Ferrell was promoting the new movie "Old School" and he said that he moved into a fraternity house after wrapping the party and it's a TKE house!!! Did anyone else see it?

Isn’t he a TKE? I’m not certain but its something I recall from rush.

I dunno but it was the funniest thing ever!!! He was acting like it was Cribs and he was like "this is our party room. We put the old cups on the floor and stomp on them for ambiance" then he was showing the power of the speakers and this girl came downstairs and started freaking to the music. The best tho was when he was showing the bathroom he "designed". It was a regular fraternity bathroom but he was like "I picked out these faucets" like "I wanted to install the urinals b/c I wanted the feel of a public bathroom @ home" It was the funniest thing ever!!

I don't get why he uses TKE so much. I know he did on SNL. The houses in the movie and the comedy central show are also TKE houses. In the movie everything TKE related is not visable for legal reasons though. Don't really mind. I see it as all good publicity even though that house could use a good cleaning.

I caught about 2 minutes of it when I was flipping through the channels. I didn't see anything about it being a TKE house, but I did see a large neon green sign that said "ZTA loves Dan." :)


On a side note, there was an Alpha Phi from Northwestern on Hollywood Squares last night. She didn't win, though. There were also large Alpha Sigma Phi and Zeta Psi letters on the set (it is for the college tournament).

The house being messy was staged. I have heard from "Dan" the guy Will kept yelling for during the show and he said comedy central asked them not to clean for a week. It wasn't messy enough so that added stuff such as the fruit in the couch thing. I was good PR for their chapter though and they were paid for the whole thing.

I saw TKE through out the house and he mentioned it as well. Supposedly they have a written contract not to mention or show any TKE stuff, so I am sure they could sue if they want. Personally I would have refused the part about have the house a mess but it wasn't my call. Guess that is what alot of people imgaine what a fraternity house would look like. Apperently it has helped their chapter pr wise and I have heard only good stuff about the show besides the house needs to be cleaned. Oh and by the way 1/2 the money the chapter got for the whole deal went to charity.

I doubt he did it to make TKE look bad, it just made alot of people think he was a TKE. They don't have a Delt chapter at Rutgers maybe another reason he didn't use his own fraternity.
