During the show, Chapter Treasurer Tom Alderman, Cal Poly '05, was called up to the stage. He is the grandson of William E. Alderman, Miami '44. Alderman did not win his showcase; however, he advanced to the Showcase Showdown on The Price Is Right after spinning the wheel and hit "100" to win $1,000 in cash. Although Alderman underbid $8,000 on his showcase, he was closest to the price, winning a dining room set, dinnerware, vintage Coke machine and a piano. |
