New colony - YAY!

ASA has been selected to colonize at the University of Alaska in Anchorage! The other NPC groups already there are Tri Sigma & a colony of Theta Phi Alpha.

I don't think I will be going to visit soon though as I have seen enough snow to last me a lifetime. :p

Congratulations to ASA on their new colony! :)

Congrats to the Anchorage colony. I had heard about them through our new leadership consultant Raeanne. And speaking of the sorority growing. I recruited a girl to join the sorority so shes going to come meet some of my other chapter sisters and hopefully we will extend her a bid soon through open bidding. One of the sisters biological twin sister just joined so we are one more closer to our goal of 15 and so I'm super excited about my recruit. Shes the 2nd person I have recruited. Well thats about all Psi Psi is doing great. We are planning all sorts of stuff and its just an awesome semester for me personally compared to last semester. Anyway not much of an update but just felt like rambling.

*smiles* I'd love to be able to go to their installation, but i'm a poor broke college girl.

Wow! It's so exciting to know you have heard of us! I'm a founding member of the Anchorage Colony. If you want to learn a little about our girls, visit our homepage! www.geocities.com/uaasorority

I feel so blessed to be part of such an AMAZING organization. I can't wait to meet more of my sisters. I plan on attending all the national conventions (which is gonna be a little tricky- travel is expensive from here!). My name is Molly and I'm VP of PR and Recruitment.

Alpha Love!!!!!

Hi Molly!! Thanks for coming to visit. The next convention is in Florida, I guess it couldn't be any further away!

Good luck with your colonization process and remember to have a blast while you're doing it!

Love in ASA,
Sheila

What convention is that, and when? We're still getting all our information, as our Phoenix was only a few weeks ago :) I heard of one in Baltimore in June (I believe). I'd LOVE a reason to go to Florida!!! LOL!

33girl 03-13-2003 04:26 PM

The one in Baltimore is LDI (leadership development institute). Convention is much larger - this one is in I think Naples, but don't quote me. I think the info is on the national website.

LXA Colony

Hey Tom,
The Lambda Chi colony here is doing well... the guys are wonderful and very respectful. Their group has been very active in UAA events and they all seem very enthusiastic about becoming a part of UAA's greek system. You've got a fraternity to be proud of!
