I'm panicking over finding a formal date!!

I only have two weeks to find a date for formal. I don't know what to do. I thought I would have at least 5 and half weeks. Why the big rush? Well, our formal committee needs the finalized dates to send to the place where we are having for formal for a count.

I only have one person I want to ask to formal, but he is a true "man whore" to the fullest. The only thing is he is really cute and I know that I would have fun with him at formal but he drinks alot, a whole lot and I don't want to have to pick him up off the floor also he's a little bit unreliable too. I'm not sure I could count on him to be there.

Another option that I have to just go by myself and just have fun with my sisters at formal. Then I want have to worry about whether my date will embarrass me or just decide to go home with one of my sisters.

Please let me know what you ladies think. Should I even be stressed out about this?

I think maybe going solo is best. Pair up with another single sister, and you could sit with her at dinner.

I went to Sapphire Ball last year by myself, and ended up having a blast. We invited some of the Sigma Pi's, and so they danced with us, and stuff. It was cool.

If you really wanna have a date, ask a good friend that's a guy to go with you. He'll be more realiable and you'll be able to be relaxed not having to worry that he'll get drunk and leave with someone else. Plus if he does, then no feelings hurt, cuz he's just a friend.

Hmmm, tough choice. If there really is ahigh chance you'd be pickin this guy up off the floor then, i'd say go solo....Do you have just a friend you could ask? of the 5 formals i went to - i took my female cousin to one, my bf to 2, "rent-a-date" (ie ex-bf) to one and solo'd the last one....
Anyway, just do whatever you feel most comfortable with....

I took a date last year
He was a hottie. . .but one of my 'sisters' stole him away like for the first dance. . .and that was just plain rude.

This year, I'm probably bringing an outside 'hot' guy friend or taking one of my close 'out of sorority' friends. Who knows?

But it WON"T be a fraternity boy. . .that's for sure.
