annoying brothers
 

How do you put up with a brother who never lets go of an opportunity to deride you, undermine your self-worth, and make you regret he was your brother?

I feel so ashamed for having brought him into the house, (I introduced him to the house and rushed him). I've never been a morally exemplary member of the house, being the definative party animal on campus. But the level of rudeness he can display without so much as a flich makes me stand there dumbfounded.

I'm not here to whine to you guys. I really wanna hear of similar experiences and how they've been dealt with.

we had a guy like that. the whole chapter sat him down one day and told him what an asshole we all thought he was and that he could either change and become part of the fraternity or get out. theres really no other way to get people like that to understand

Give him a taste of his own medicine. If he says something about your girlfriend, for instance say "I'm going to break your neck and f*ck (insert his girl's name) right beside your dead corpse." Or tell him, "if you don't shut up, I'll cut off your mother's clitoris and send it to you in the mail." That usually gets people to shut up.

Optimist: I like that idea

I've been avoiding confrontation because I didn't want to sink to his level, it would only make him say somethin' like I'm a hypocrit for tellin' him he's a dick while doin' that myself.

I'll try JerzeeBoys solution first though... a bunch of other brothers are kinda pissed at him too

I guess we all make mistakes, an' have to take beef for it...

Is it normal to have to put up with this several months after the fact? and is it any of his bussiness?
