With all of the war drums beating lately, I think everyone's spirits have been shot down.

So I thought maybe if people focused on lil things that occurred during their day that made them feel good, people might start feeling better.

I'll start. Today I was grocery shopping and saw a sale on some facial products. At the register, the sale price didn't come up and I ended up totalling this insane amount of money. I told the cashier and she went and checked the price. Since Albertson's has a correct price guarentee and the items didn't come up as marked, I got them for FREE. That brightened up my day.

That's sweet! I overpaid my credit card somehow by $722 so I'm getting a check back:D

Money was tight for awhile but now I'm going to get that check around the same time my income tax check should be coming.

On Saturday I had a customer come back to buy an engagement ring and I didn't even really have to work all that hard for the sale....so YEAH! It helped boost my numbers and made my evening (it's not every day that a customer comes in and just says "I'll take it").

On Valentine's Day, I got a paper flower (sold by the Asian Club) from a girl I had never met before. I was waiting in the rain for the bus and she asked me if I was having a happy Valentine's Day. I said, "No, not really, but I'm trying." And then she gave it to me! It really brightened my whole day, and I also made a new friend :)

Hootie, I LOVE when that happens... it's a lot better than the customer who wants to look at every ring in the store, then they want to go back and look at them under the loupe, then they want to go back and see their appraisal papers, then they want to fill out a credit application, then they want to find out how much their payments will be on 11 different rings... and then they want to shop around at some other stores before they buy.
