graduate students?

so, i was at the bar lastnight with some fellow grad students and an undergrad, i was wearing my letters and we got on the topic of the fraternity. all 3 grads and the undergrad expressed interest in joining when they heard how much i was enjoying myself as an alumni volunteer. i know how to go about getting the undergrad involved, but my question is about the grad students. at last conclave, did the grand chapter vote to allow grads to be actives, or would they be considered alumni? if not, i have no problem intiating them as alumni, since the chapter at west chester needs a lot of support and i've also been trying to recruit province advisors. these are stand up guys who i think really could contribute. i figure if i can't get volunteers from our current alumni, i'll make my own! anyone have an answer to #1, or any comments on the whole situation?

At conclave it was voted to allow graduate students to remain (become) actives. I know we have an active who is studying for his masters degree, he was initatied while at graduate school.

The President of my chapter is a graduate student and a damn good one. He was initiated his last semester as a undergrad. Damn good brother too.

yea grad students are great members, MOST of them have their lives in order and had more time to develop, and can give alot of insight to the younger guys. never hurts to take some guys that are somewhat older...
