Idea for girls going alum
 

So this idea popped in my head the other day looking through the AGD apparel in that shop that you can get to through IHQ's website. How about getting Alpha Gam Always T-shirts for the girls going alum and making it an Alum Relations tradition? Might make for a good alumnae retention tool...and they're kinda cute shirts anyway. :)

I have been thinking of that and thought about maybe giving silver picture frames with their Alumnea initation date on it and a picture of their pledge class in the frame from Initation day. Or someother formal picture, but just something nice that is elegant and that they would like to display in their new home. I have also thought of useing this same idea with the New ladies at Fireside. When my class installed/initated the Alums gave us silver badge boxes and then the bigs/chapter took over that tradition, so we are trying to think of something that the Alums can give every year. Any other ideas would be great!

Our alums give each member that goes through senior rededication a gift. For several years it was a small silver plate with our greek letters engraved upon it. I still have mine. I think they are now giving out a silver bracelet with Alpha Gamma Delta engraved in script across it.

I think a small assortment of Alpha Gam Always stuff would be a fun gift....note pad, pencil, t-shirt. I'll have to pass that on to our chapter.

I shouldn't complain. MaryLou gave me a floating pearl necklace and I still wear it all the time.
