rush slogans

whats up everyone....

Rush formally started for us last week. So far we are doing the best in a long time. We had about 20-25 rushes at our last mixer. How many of them will pledge?? We shall see....

But i was just curious to what some of the other chapters have on rush flyers or rush shirts. I have seen some very funny ones from other chapters...

Good luck everyone else with rush and pledging

A variation of that

"If your going greek rush TKE, if you can't join TKE, join a sorority"

Our President, and Colony rep for CAC, Tyler Baker, brought a few funny slogans back from the last CAC meeting. I can't remember which chapter it was, but the funniest one I heard was a chapter that had t-shirts that said, "If you are going to buy your friends, you might as well buy cool ones, Rush TKE"

We used:

"Not everyone can be a TKE. Someone has to sit on the sidewalk and clap as we walk by."

One of our brothers sold an extra of that shirt on Ebay and got like $45 for it. I paid $15... word.

one of the best i've seen was really simple,

the idea behind it was just

Leadership Fraternity.

basically did alot of the same stuff as normal, but with different focus, alot of

Building the Leaders of Tomarrow Today

and that kinda stuff, it seemed to get past the largly social aspect of greek life that everyone seems to know so much about, and focus on the development stuff that not so many people know about. it doubled ZZ's new members, and with a different focus for the chapter, it got better people too.

I hear ya man, just having some fun :)

I had a pretty good laugh when the Delts last year spelled "Scholarship" as "Scolarship" on their rush t-shirts.

thats how we spelled "Scolarship" in our Rush Pamphlets. (sorry the IHQ ones just don't fit the Canadian Bill)

as for slogans ours was:

See Dick
See Dick Rush TKE
Girls like Dick
RUSH TKE

ideas

Hey! I'm a Tri-Sigma, but the TKEs at my school had a good idea.

They made a shirt with TKE on the front and on the back was a quote that read "the choice to belong, the challenge to become, the opportunity to succeed"

They made shirts for all the sorority girls to wear to advertise and get their name out to some new guys
