Help me fix my invisible zipper!

All right, I'm a fashion major and I'm really ashamed that I can't solve this little problem myself, but here's the deal: my chapter's initiation is tomorrow, and the zipper on my initiation dress is broken. It's one of those invisible zippers, and it still works except it has come open near the bottom but it's still zipped at the top. How can I get it unzipped all the way so that I can zip it properly again? I don't want my derriere hanging out! Can anyone tell me what to do?

Try holding it together and working the zipper back down to the bottom, then realigning the zipper so that the teeth interlock again. It's hard to describe what I mean, but this shoulld get things back on track and you'll be able to zip it up again.

Hope this helps some!

Thanks! I'll try that. I was thinking I was going to have to resort to duct tape...;)

If it's broken a lot of cleaners have zipper repair.

How'd it work out, Dana? You weren't mooning anyone during the initiation ceremony, I hope! :D

I'll be right over to help you with your zipper Darlin' . . . just make sure you leave plenty off time beween me helping you and the time you have to leave for initiation . . ;) lol

Haha, James, thanks for the offer, but I got it taken care of myself! :p I'll call you next time, though...

KillarneyRose, thanks for the suggestion--it helped! The zipper still doesn't work quite like it ought to, but at least I was able to get it zipped so that my knickers weren't on display for the entire chapter. :o This was my last initiation so I think I'll retire that dress...
