Sounds Fishy
|
Funny how things work. The Teeks from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI were kicked off their campus. We used to have Teeks up here at Central Michigan University, but they were gone before I went Greek. Sounds awfully fishy...

This may not apply here, but seriously, why would you chose to live near a college campus (let alone a fraternity house) and not expect some kind of party noise and ruckus in the area (from the GDIs as well as the Greeks)?
Like the 50+ yr old hags that live around here, not only are they "tired of the noise", they're blaming this solely on the Greeks! |

it just seems shady to me. the woodlands people or whatever wanted to buy the land their house is on. or at least part of their land. now they are trying to get them evicted or kicked out or however you want to put it.
basically just sounds like shady business people doing shady real estate activities. hope they don't get the land and i hope the teeks keep the house. screw the neighbors. they can move. shelley j sigma k |
"shady business people doing shady real estate activities"...sounds like the off-campus areas of any college town I've been familiar with. Even here, which is a pretty decent-sized city (state capital and largest city), there are so many sketchy landlords who will do anything to get the highest bidder. No wonder I still live on-campus.
