Inspiring unity story

So since our greeks do not have dinning rooms, let alone offical houses, we have our own tables at the various campus cafeterias. To mark our tables we use bolsters or tableheads with our letters on them.

I don't know if other schools do this but in any case our colony didnt have a table, until today.

We knew there was one vacant, unclaimed table in the main dining hall and intended to put our newly made bolster there.

Our President and another brother went to the "Greek Section" in our campus' main dining hall at about 6 pm today. The place was PACKED. There were over a hundred fifty probably more there. In any case it's just a guess, I wasnt there.

Rush has just finished and it is required for some sorority associate members be there at 6 PM to eat with their respective sororities. In any case, our president and brother started to walk away after seeing all the tables filled, including the bolsterless one.

As they walked away they heard someone yell, "HEY! HEY Phi Kaps!" One of the Gamma Phi's (Local Fraternity) was yelling. All of their brothers got up, and begin talking to the Sigma Nu Brothers.
Suddenly, half the Sigma Nu brothers got up, picked up one of their emptier tables and slid it over and cleared it off and then told us to put our table head there and as soon as we sat our bolster down everyone started clapping.
