There Is Still Hope
 

I have a friend who I practically grew up with. We were like sisters. Her family was mine and mine was hers. Her mother was one of the coolest ladies I have ever met in my life. I could and did talk to her about everything. I admired her as a person as well as a professional. Well this friend and I lost contact for years. We recently found each other. And to my surprise her mother had become a Delta!!!!! She and her oldest daughter plegded together. So not only are they mother and daugther but now they are line sisters.

This made me feel good to know because she is an older lady and this is something she always wanted to do and she did it. I am very proud of her. Another reason I feel good is because I now have living proof in my life that it is never too late to go after what you want. If Delta Sigma Theta is something you really want it will come to you. I believe that now. Hopefully it will come to me to.
