It's wonderful to be an AXD
 

I just returned from a trip to Indiana, and I want to say how terrific being an AXD made the trip.

I got to stay at the (huge!) IU chapter house. The girls were all so nice to a perfect stranger! (And your house just bowled over a gal who isn't used to houses on that scale.)

I got to meet E, a gal from my chapter who had been an ELC, and got her lowdown on Indianapolis. And she gave me a ride to the airport, saving me a monsterous taxi fare.

I toured FHQ. It was so cool to see bits of our history on display and to meet the women who I just knew as names until now. Kendra Lewis very graciously showed me around.

I love my sisters!

I know what you mean, Fuzzie. Every time someone asks me about my pin or lavaliere, I feel so special. Than when they bring up MTV:mad: , I get the chance to explain that AXiD is nothing like that. I can talk about Choose Children, and Sisterhood, and having friends, and all of the good stuff. :D
