Alright, this is just entertaining to say the least....well, good news first----we have extended (or are in the process of extending) bids to 7 women for our spring semester. In our small chapter of 19 women, 7 for Spring informal cob, is WONDERFUL!!!! I really hope they all accept their bids. Having talked with almost all of them, I really think they are going to accept them. So that's awesome.
So here's the funny news. Counting current actives and recent (last semester new alums *that still are around a lot*) and including the bids tonight, we have 3 kristins (1 active initate, and 2 Kristin W's that were extended bids tonight) 2 Beccas (one active, one recent alum) 2 mandy/ie's (one recent alum, and myself, active) 2 nikkis (one active, one continuing new member) 3 sara(h)s, (2 active, one extended a bid tonight), a jenna and 2 jennys (one active, one given a bid). How crazy is all of that?!??! It's like we're one chapter, 25 girls, and 5 names. :-D Oh well, I just thought that was humorous :-)

Due to some internal conflicts and issues, an iniation was pushed back and so we are having an inspiration tomorrow night and initation on sunday morning---I'm so excited!!!! How cool is that though, initation that morning and a pi alpha that night :-)

UGA COB/Spring Rush
 

The Delta Iota chapter got 4 girls from COB and 4 from Spring Rush. This is in addition to my 30+ pledge class from formal rush in the fall. Yay for DG!

Our chapter hosted a COB event tonight of painting ceramic mugs. It was really cute and about 10 girls showed up but we are prepping for a hgue spring recruitment the last week of february. Our goal is 20 girls and I am so excited about it!!! Feb 28 is bid night and pi alpha so wish us luck here at the EK chapter!! :)

11 Girls showed up last week to our COB event and I think at least 8 of them were extended bids including my roommate!! They have until the 28th to decide if they want to accept the bid or not and we have our big week next week along with an extra COB event monday night!!! :D
