Pledging is starting!
 

Hey guys, just thought I'd drop a line that the Rho Pi's are starting pledging on Sunday!!

They will have 6 guys, which is a pretty big pledge class here. I'm just really happy about it because a good friend of mine will be pledging!!! Yea! I've already started working on his chapter shirt and well, a special muscle-letter shirt. :)

Congrats to Rho Pi!

down in miami, we have three

Our Associate Members (pledges) started last week, we have three, which is an average winter class size. We do rush twice a year (fall and winter). In the Fall of this year we got 10 guys.

It's cool that most of y'all are starting your pledge programs. Just remember two things. One, RUSH IS 365 DAYS A YEAR. There is not fall rush and winter rush. Two, never go for size in your pledge class. Go for quality. I've personally seen a pledge class of two pay off more than a pledge class of six. All because those two guys were quality members. Just something to keep in mind guys. Good luck this semester brothers.

Thats a good point, I just meant our 'formal' rush periods are the first two weeks of fall term and the first two weeks of winter term.

Well, before when we had quarters there were 4 Rush's, but now, since we have semesters we're down to 2.


Suck note: My Teke requested not to have a little this semester :( So now I don't have a pledge to baby this semester, lol

Well, the guys lost 1 pledge due to a VERY stupid mistake on their part. Currently there are 2 pledges that may be kicked out here soon if they don't shape up. :rolleyes:

But, my 2 buddies that are pledging is making it through wonderfully, heh :)

well tell those 2 guys to straighten up they need to, if they dont they will be messing up their greatest chance to be in a wonderful fraternity

I don't think they'll listen to be quite honest with you. They are both lying to actives and even their big bros. One in particular has been disrespecting affliates of the fraternity (Sweethearts, "Lil Sis's", etc). On a side note I about slapped him the other day... :rolleyes:
