SoCal NPC alums - can you help me out?
 

I'm doing a little research for a sister of mine who is moving to North Hollywood. She is coming from PA, so needless to say it's going to be a little bit of culture shock!

She would like to stay involved in Greek life on some level. Unfortunately, ASA only has one alum chapter in CA - in San Diego, which is quite a distance. I think she would like to get settled before she tries to start a new alum chapter. I was wondering if there was an alumnae Panhellenic in that area where she could be a member at large?

33girl, just out of curiosity, which college in San Diego had an ASA chapter? I don't recall one at San Diego State, and there isn't one currently at USD or UCSD.

...to definitely get involved with the Alum Panhel group there in SoCal...the alum Panhel association I founded here a year and a half ago is pretty well-represented by many of the NPC's 26 sororities (we have 18 & about 100 members), but we have no ASA's at all :( I have always maintained that the closer we can get to having members from all 26 groups, the better we will be.

Ah, my mistake. We had several national GLOs at SDSU that were closed even before the 50s.
