Creative, misleading but as long as the boss did not say it was a car I doubt it was illegal.

I would be really upset, but I doubt that I would have sued them over it. Now-a-days everybody sues left and right. It makes me sick!

Unfortunately, nowadays, REASONING falls on deaf ears. People only respond to things that involve money(i.e. lawsuits). I'm sure that this woman probably approached him many times asking for the vehicle and he probably just laugh her out of the office (since it was his idea of a joke).

Now, when the lawsuit pops up, he's all ready to listen, compromise, and settle. :rolleyes: WHATEVER!! Why couldn't he have done that in the first place?

I'm going to take a different view on this.

Coming from some one who has worked in a restaurant, I say that the woman should've known better. Come on, a NEW TOYOTA for winning a BEER sales contest at HOOTERS. We always have had little contests like that. The best thing we ever won was a free meal, a small meal at that, no steak or anything. But a car...hell will freeze over first!

Even my flaky a$$ :D would've found something suspicious about the prize.

I'll be honest and say I'm more upset about the quality of Hooters girls. Seriously they're all ugly lately with the exception of one I saw in the suburbs. Not only are they ugly, but they are old. And lately they don't even have breasts either.
