Alpha Chapter of Delta Chi officially gone
|
Arya thanks for the update and it is so sad to see an Alpha Chapter close!
What a shame! Did the National do enough to help them, more thatn likely but did the Chapter try to work with in the guidelines? It is still sad no matter what!:( |
This is a huge dissapointment and all the brother hope for a quick comeback!

i hung out with the delta chi at valdosta state. those guys were cool as hell and did all they could to get me to rush a sorority. i would hate to see their chapter disappear. i don't care how small they are or rebllious. those guys welcomed me like i always belonged.

Thanks for the info. I dated a D-Chi my sophmore year and later lived with him and another brother my senior year (wasn't dating him at the time). I can only speak for the D-Chi's from Embry Riddle in Daytona Beach, FL - but they are, by far, the best group of guys! I hope, for Delta Chi, that their Alpha chapter comes back. It's really sad to hear about any chapter closing down, especially the Alpha chapter. I wish them the best of luck!

Wow...this is the second Alpha Chapter at Cornell that has been lost. I met a lot of Greeks from Cornell last spring, and they were all great representatives of their organizations. Cornell seems to be the most pro-Greek of all the Ivies.

I knew a Delta Chi from Cornell a few years ago, he lived in the same apt as my boyfriend. I was surprised one morning to find the whole pledge class in the living room doing some kind of pledging activity. He and the rest of them were all very nice and it's a shame what has happened.
Membership lows and highs seem to go in cycles so I hope they can work things out and come back eventually. |
