I had a question that I hope someone can help me with. I was wondering if anyone knew what we call our formal?! I'm sure some of you call it different things but I'm just wondering if there was a main name for it. Like for example Lambda Chi Alpha call theirs "white rose". Just trying to think of something more creative then formal:D

We just had our first formal this year and we called it "Double Rose Ball."

I've always thought that it was called the Rose Ball...usually held in the Spring...at least that's what I learned in my Frat Ed.

Jilly, Alpha Pi calls it "Algadel" (short for Alpha Gamma Delta).

Upsilon calls ours the Red Rose Ball.

At gamma tau, we call our semi-formal Rosebud (mostly cause it's for our new members) and then second semester we call our formal Pearl formal.

The semi-formal in December we call the Christmas Social. The formal in March we call the Rose Ball.

I like the Algadel :)
