Swing Party
 

Has anyone ever thrown a swing dance party? I think it would be a great idea...but would it fly?

Are you talking about like a mixer or an actual party with a large group of people?

Like a party was my first intention, but i never thought of it as a mixer.

We did it as a mixer once. One of our girls dad knew all about swing dancing, i guess he went to competitions and all. So he cam and taught us how to do it. It worked out well cuz we switched partners several times. I really liked it cuz it was my first semester as an active member so i was still in the process of getting to know people. So maybe you should think about one as a mixer :)

I think that a swing party/mixer would be so cute. I love old dresses and stuff, and everyone could dress up so cute in swing-era dresses and the guys could wear suits. Aww. :)
