Wonderful Delta Thank You

I am very interested in delta sigma theta and have been for some time. I have researched and I have tried my best to understand what Delta was all about. I really have no questions or anything like that. I just wanted to take time out to say hello to the Wonderful Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta and tell them how much they have touched my life. I really knew nothing about sororities before i got to college. Once i got there i just known i wanted to be a part of one but which one was the question. I began to do research on all four of the sororities in the divine nine. No matter what my interests always came back to Delta. Through your service and dedication you have helped to bring blacks and woman a long way. When times were hard you seemed to be there. You never allowed anything to let your sisterhood fall apart. Your histoty has touched my heart because although, the other 3 sororities have similar goal, the way inwhich you have carried out these goals stands out. At first i wanted to be a member of a sorority for all the wrong reason. parties, stepping, and wearing letters. After learning your history i relieves that your sisterhood is much more then that. You have open alot of doors for women like myself and i hope that one i will have the honor of calling you all my sisters. But even if i never become one of your sisters, i am proud and honored to have had the chance to learn about you and meet some of you.

Thank you

Aaawwww..that's nice.

That's really sweet and all. I'm an AKA, not a Delta, but just had to comment. Your post resembles a letter of interest. So, I might suggest that when and if you do submit an interest letter that you review your work "FOE" spelling errors.

  :D

CTFU. I'm also an AKA, but I suspect that ANY D_9 interested person needs to make sure their presentation is on point, including a lack of spelling errors.

I thank you for pointing out my spelling errors, i should have read my proof-read but i would also like to say that my post was in no way a letter of intent or interest. I only made this post in order to let the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta know that they are doing a great job and have touch my life. I did not write this to help me get into the sorority and have no intent on submitting it to anyone but this message board. Like i said before i just wanted to say thank you. Many times people have nothing but bad things to say about sororities, i just wanted to take time out to say something nice.
